Best Gym in Pittsburgh

I’m Reggie Dulaney, the proud owner of Panthro Fitness.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I have always loved pumping iron and keeping fit, but becoming a personal trainer was not my first career choice. After graduating from Ohio State University with a Mechanical Engineering degree, I started working at Westinghouse Electric.

My interest soon switched from engineering to improving the mechanics of the body after helping a friend lose over 100lbs. His transformation, both physically and mentally convinced me of the direction I wanted to take with my life.

I soon decided to start my gym so that I could have a positive impact on people’s lives. I wanted to empower clients to achieve their health and fitness goals and not only alter their body shape but also their attitude.

Since jumping into the fitness industry fifteen years ago, I have seen many positive changes. When I first started, personal trainers were becoming more popular, mainly among women, but today, more men are seeking the same advantages.

Gym enthusiasts also trained with an instructor primarily to lose weight. Now there are multiple reasons, such as improving performance, reducing stress, and being part of a social community. I have built a dynamic company that is adaptable to the changing trends.

My philosophy is to provide excellent customer service, which usually means delivering beyond the benefits customers thought they would receive when they initially signed up. My integrity allows clients to trust me to take good care of their body.

I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to own a business where I can provide a vehicle for personal development. Whether its clients or employees, I feel it’s my responsibility to help people grow, by inspiring and cultivating people to be their best.

My team aligns with my vision, which has created a culture of spiritual development. I have been able to nourish a team of leaders that are professional and can consistently execute at a high level. It has created many happy customers that promote our business through word of mouth.

I genuinely love my clients, and I think they know it. I also have a beautiful, supportive family that understands the life of an entrepreneur and contributes to my success. They help me to challenge my limits and assist in my pursuit of excellence.

When I am not at the gym, I enjoy competitive games, which includes Uno, dominoes, and scrabble. I have recently developed a love for reading, and try to read up to four books a month.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
